On July 7, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering and Agro-Industry, Maejo University, warmly welcomed 9 students and faculty members from National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan and National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), under the New Southbound Overseas Internship Program supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.
The welcoming ceremony was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tithinun Rattanaplome, Associate Dean for Academic and International Affairs, along with Assoc. Prof. Bandit Hirunstiporn, Head of Agricultural Engineering Program, and faculty members.
5 students will focus on Biochar and Sustainable Applications
4 students will explore Smart Farming and IoT in Precision Agriculture
The internship will be supervised by faculty members from the Agricultural Engineering program.
This program marks an important step in international academic collaboration and cross-cultural learning between Taiwan and Thailand.
